Conventional duplex steel globe valves can be used for isolation and throttling services. Although these type of valves exhibit slightly higher pressure drops than straight through valves (e.g., DSS gate valve, plug valve, ball valves etc.), they may be used where the pressure drop through the valve is not a controlling factor to be concern.
The practical size limit for these duplex steel globe valves is NPS 12 (DN 300), because the entire system pressure exerted on the disc is transferred to the valve stem portion, Duplex Steel Globe valves larger than NPS 12 (DN 300) are an exception rather than the rule. Larger valves would require that enormous forces be exerted on the stem to open or close the valve under pressure. Although we have manufactured and supplied up to NPS 48 (DN 1200) size Duplex Stainless Steel Globe valves have been used and it worked properly at the project sight.

Generally the maximum differential pressure across the valve disc should not be exceeding 20 percent of the maximum upstream pressure or 200 psi (1380 kPa) whichever is less to avert premature failure and to make sure value for money to end user of these valves. Duplex Stainless Steel Globe Valves
Type : Tee Pattern or Z-body
Tee Pattern or Z body Duplex Steel Globe valves manufactured and supplied by us are the common body type in Globe valves, with a typical Z-shaped diaphragm. In this type of valves, the horizontal setting of the seat allows the stem and disk components to travel perpendicular to the horizontal line. This designed valve has the lowest coefficient of flow and higher pressure drop. These type of valves are used in severe throttling services, such as in bypass pipe lines around a control valve. Duplex steel Tee-pattern Globe valves can be used in applications where pressure drop is not a matter of concern and throttling is required.

Type : Angle Pattern
Duplex steel angle pattern Globe valves design manufactured and supplied by us are an modification of the basic Tee Pattern Duplex steel Globe valves. We have designed the ends of this DSS Globe valve at an angle of 90 degrees, and fluid flow occurs with a single 90 degrees turn. These valves have a slightly lower coefficient of flow than wye-pattern Duplex steel Globe valves. Our these valves can be used in applications that have periods of pulsating flow because of their capability to handle the slugging effect of this type of flow.

Type : Wye Pattern or Y-body
Duplex

are an best possible solution for the high pressure drop, inherent
in Globe valve series. This type of Globe valves gives a straighter
flow path at full opening and offer the least resistance to flow because
the seat and stem are designed to angle at approximately 45 degrees,.
These valves can be cracked open for long periods without severe erosion.

or startup operations. The advantage of these type of valves is that
it can be rod through to remove debris when used in drain lines that
